Such a simple thing.  But boy it works.

Downsize your plates.  You know the side plate ... use that as your main plate.  You'll be amazed at how that will radically change your perception of how much food you actually need to make you satisfied after a meal.  Just try it.  Once.  Just to see.  Eat slowly.  Enjoy your food.  And afterwards ... really feel that feeling of "satisfied".  NOT "full".  Satisfied.  And you've eaten HALF as much as you usually would've!
